This is 1880 8/7 cc Top 100 Vam-6 Morgan Silver Dollar Certified by NGC MS 65 with GSA BOX . The VAM-6 8/7 set low overdate feature has a strong 7 showing beneath the 8. The 7 is set lower than the similar VAM 5 overdate. The reverse of both of these VAMs has a 1879 reverse with the slanted arrow feathers that angle down toward the shaft rather than running parallel to it. |

This is Morgan Silver Dollars produced at the Carson City Mint were discovered and were sold to coin collectors by the federal government in the early 1970s. These Morgan Silver dollars were uncirculated and are called GSAs (named after the General Services Administration) The GSA packaged each coin in its own holder and the coins were sold via mail bid. Most of the coins were 1882 cc Morgan Silver, 1883 cc Morgan Silver, and 1884 Carson City dollars,
