There is an error found in 1955 Franklin Silver half dollars coins minted in Philadelphia called the "Bugs Bunny" error, so called because damage to the coin's obverse die resulted in a split in Franklin's upper lip, giving the appearance of prominent front teeth. Also in Franklin halves proof sets of 1961 check for the rare Doubled die variety which has a doubling at E PLURIBUS UNUM on the reverse.
The 1964 Accented Hair variety of Kennedy half dollars has sharply incised hair above Kennedy's ear and is found only as a Proof. The 1974 d Doubled Die obverse has a prominent doubling of RUS.
