The picture to left was take at El Yunque Puerto Rico. The picture to right was taken at vieques Puerto Rico. El Yunque is less than an hour's drive from San Juan, and there's road access to the reserve. The rivers and waterfalls formed by all that water rushing back down to the sea are also very beautiful to see and refreshingly cool and clean to jump into. The forest hosts a number of unique plant and animal species such as the endangered Puerto Rican Parrot ( very rarely seen) and the tiny coqui. El Yunque is the rainiest of all the National Forests. |
